Year 4 trip to Gloucester Museum

On Monday 13th June, Year 4 took a trip to Gloucester Museum as part of their ‘Glorious Glevum’ topic. They had time to explore the museum, followed by 3 different Roman activities. They took part in a Roman leisure session, an artefact handling session and had some time studying the Roman wall within Eastgate Chamber. Then, the children took a walk to the Waterways Museum, had an al-fresco style lunch and enjoyed a boat cruise along the canal on the Queen Boudicca 2. A fantastic day exploring our city and all of the rich history we are lucky to have on our doorstep!
